Our History
A brief history of where our brilliance has come from
Pre-Press Workflow
BusinessPrint uses the Kodak Software Platform.
An essential benefit of this system is that clients can submit their artwork to us in an array of user-friendly methods such as Kodak Insite and e-mail. Kodak Insite is a customised internet-based website linked to our Prinergy Workflow System that is essentially a Virtual Proofing System. PDF print-ready files are uploaded directly to the Prinergy Workflow Server, upon which the files are automatically impositioned, refined and readily available for online approval within minutes. This online proof is an accurate screen rendering of what the artwork will look like as the final product.
We also use Adobe Master Suite, Microsoft Office, Pitstop and other applications as connectors to prepare files for print.
You can choose to see a printed proof for content and imposition checking. Alternatively, you can request a Sherpa proof – a high-quality proof equal to the colour standards of our printing presses.
The final approval lies in the hands of the client. Approval triggers predetermined actions and rules in Prinergy’s Automation folder, which will process the artwork for either Digital or Litho Press.
